Fisher and Paykel Healthcare
"We are delighted to have the
opportunity to sponsor this important facility and to
recognise our long-standing associations with Auckland
Hospital, National Women's, Greenlane and Starship, which
will shortly be on the one site at Auckland City Hospital in
Grafton. Our relationship began more than 35 years ago, as
much of the original clinical development of our world
leading humidification technology took place at Auckland
Hospital", commented Fisher & Paykel Healthcare's Chairman,
Mr Gary Paykel.

New Zealand Guardian Trust
The New Zealand Guardian Trust Company Limited is Trustee of
both the Sir Ernest Davis Endowment Trust and the Lady
Marion Davis Memorial (Hospitals) Foundation. During their
lifetimes, Sir Ernest and Lady Davis were generous
supporters of the Auckland Hospital (including the building
and the ongoing support of the Marion Davis Library) and
made significant donations towards medical education and the
sick people of Auckland. This support continues today
through their respective Charitable Trusts. The Trustee has
therefore chosen to continue this support by approving a
joint grant of $300,000.00 for sponsorship of the Library in
the new Clinical Education Centre. |

International Wire and
Cable
“Grateful patient” Dorothy Spry was an inpatient at Auckland
City Hospital. In appreciation of the care she received and
as a consequence of her wish to support Auckland City
Hospital and its Clinical Education Centre, she has made two
very generous donations, one in her own name, and one
through her company (International Wire and Cable). Miss
Spry is known for her philanthropic support and the A+ Trust
and the Clinical Education Centre Planning Committee are
very grateful for her very generous contributions. |
