Taima Campbell

Qualifications:

RN, BN, Cert. Cl. Tchg (Maori), MHSc - Nursing

Taima is the executive director of Nursing for the ADHB and is an honorary lecturer at the School of Nursing, University of Auckland.  She has over 20 years experience in the New Zealand health sector, working in clinical, education and management roles. She is involved in a number of national nursing and Maori committees, including Nurse Executives of New Zealand, The Health Practitioners Disciplinary Tribunal and is the co chair for the Board of the College of Nurses - Aotearoa. She was formally a member of the Health Workforce Advisory Committee (including the Maori Sub-Committee). Taima’s iwi affiliations are Ngāti Tamaterā, Ngāti Maru.

Margaret Dotchin

Qualifications: 

RGON, Cert Pract. Mgt.

Professional Background:

Women's health, oncology, adult medical and surgical nursing. She has extensive experience in nursing, service and general management within the public hospital sector.

Nurse Director Adult Health Services: This role has leadership and professional accountabilityfor nursing services within the Adult Health Services of the Auckland District Health Board (ADHB). 

 

General Manager, Clinical Services: In addition, to nursing leadership responsibilities, leads strategy, business planning and operational performance accountability for a portfolio of services within the ADHB provider arm.

Works in partnership with Deputy Chief Medical Officer to ensure vision and strategy is implemented, operational performance is optimised and delivery of agreed goals.

Professional Background:

Clinical background while now a distant memory was in renal nursing.  I spent 10 years working in a variety of renal settings – ward, transplant and haemodialysis in staff nurse and senior nurse roles. Following this I spent a period of time working in a combination of senior nurses roles which incorporated aspects of teaching and policy development before taking up my current focus in professional development.

Current Role:

The key areas of this role include:

 
  • Providing leadership and co-ordination ADHB’s nursing professional development and recognition programme (PDRP) ensuring alignment to ADHB organisational and nursing’s goals and objectives, the National PDRP Framework and the Nursing Council of New Zealand standards for PDRP’s.
  • Influence nursing undergraduate and postgraduate education programmes to meet population health need and management of undergraduate nurse clinical access
  • Coordination and management of ADHB’s Nurse Post Entry Clinical Training funded by the Clinical Training Agency (CTA).

Jane Lees                

Qualifications:

RN, PG Dip HSc. MN (hons)

Professional background:

Older Peoples Health with a focus on rehabilitation and community services.
