National Women's Health

National Women's HealthNational Women's inpatient, newborn and maternity outpatient services are located on level 9 and 10 of Auckland City Hospital and Greenlane Clinical Centre. 

Every year around 7,500 babies born at our Labour and Birthing Suite. Newborn service cares for premature and sick babies. The service receives 1,600 admissions a year, making it the largest newborn unit in Australasia. It includes the neonatal intensive care unit ( NICU ), the parent infant nursery (PIN), the home care nursing service, paediatric and developmental follow-up.

National Women's also provides comprehensive gynaecology, fertility, and gynaecology oncology services.

National Women's has a commitment to providing personalised care to women and incorporates this approach into the teaching and research activities carried out within the hospital.
