Welcome to Auckland City Hospital, New Zealand's largest public

community service. Our Auckland City Hospital sites includes:

Starship Children’s Hospital

Starship Children's Health is a dedicated paediatric healthcare
service and major teaching centre, providing family centred care
to children and young people throughout New Zealand and the
South Pacific. Starship's
building is linked to Auckland City Hospital. The two emergency
departments, adults and children, are located side-by-side,
linking all the buildings together.

Women’s Health
-
Women's Health provides
high-quality health services for women who need maternity,
newborn, gynaecology and fertility care. Services are provided
on two sites - Level 9 and 10 at Auckland
City Hospital
and the Greenlane
Clinical Centre.

LabPlus -
LabPLUS is the tertiary referral medical laboratory of Auckland
City Hospital, New Zealand.
Health services
We provide a wide range of regional services as well as specialist
services for the whole of New Zealand, such as organ transplants
(heart, lung, and liver), hepatic surgery, specialist paediatric
services, epilepsy surgery, high-risk obstetrics, and intensive
care.

Finding your way around
There are many
buildings and levels at Auckland City Hospital – check out a

The main entrance to the hospital is
just off Park Road and is clearly marked. To find the main reception
desk from this entrance, take the escalator or a lift up to Level 5. Volunteer Site Ambassadors
provide friendly assistance, to help people to find their way around
the hospital, clinics, wards and other facilities are required. All
Site Ambassadors are trained and easily recognised in their blue
uniform. The Site Ambassadors are based around main entrances and
corridors. They are available to assist throughout the day.
