Greenlane pharmacy

The pharmacy is located at the main entrance of Building 4 (main building). Pharmacy hours are weekdays from 8.30am to 5.30pm.

 

Food and refreshments

Refreshments are available from the following:

  • Muffin Break – open weekdays from 7am – 4.30pm, located in the main building (Building 4).

  • Jamaica Blue – located in the main building (Building 4).

  • Oasis Café - open 7am to 3pm, located in the entrance of Building 15.

  • Vending machines are located around the site.

Healthy Food and Beverage Guidelines

 

All our on-site food providers, vending machines and cafeterias are required to meet out Healthy Food and Beverage Environment policy. If you are interested, you can take a look at our Healthy food and drinks page.

 

Banking

An ASB ATM (money machine) is next to the reception area. The machine accepts most major cards. 

 

Telephones

Card operated telephones are available in the main building by the information desk and in some other clinical areas. There is also a free taxi-phone near the information desk. Please check with the receptionist if you plan to use a mobile phone, these phones may interfere with our electrical and monitoring equipment. 

 

Toilets

There are public toilets for visitors throughout Greenlane (including toilets for the disabled).

 

Interpreters

Interpreting services can be organised for people who are deaf or those who do not speak English. If you need an interpreter, please call before your appointment to confirm. Click here for more information.

 

Social workers

Social workers are available to assist you with family and personal problems. They can provide information, counselling and liaison services and can advocate on your behalf. The staff can contact the social workers for you or you can contact the Social Work team directly on extension 25967.

 

He Kamaka Oranga (Maori Health Provider Team)

The He Kamaka Oranga team works alongside patients, whanau and the clinical teams to ensure there is good communication and care is coordinated, both in hospital and after discharge. The team can help with cultural and spiritual support and guidance. Contact them on (09) 367 0000, extension 29200, from 8am to 8pm.
