This calculator is designed to give an approximate
calculation about the final concentration of iNO in
the ventilator circuit.
Note that this does not replace an iNO measuring
device (such as a PrinterNOx or NOxBox). However, occasionally these devices
may malfunction or not read accurately, in which case this calculator will give
an approximation of the expected iNO concentration.
Note that if the metHB level is higher than expected
despite the meter reading the appropriate iNO concentration, please check the
meter calibration and function. This may include obtaining another meter and
cross-checking readings.
