Management of Oral Erythromycin Administration

Prescription

Administration

  1. Reconstitute as per instructions on bottle label.
  2. Shake well before administration.
  3. Administer with a feed.

Nursing Considerations

  1. Observe for signs of adverse effects.
  2. Observe for signs of renal, hepatic and haematological dysfunction during prolonged therapy.
