 Use appropriate Nitric Oxide packs.
  • Packs marked: Westpac Nitric Oxide Circuit for Transport
2 Printer NOx is used during transport.  Ensure it is placed higher than Naflon tubing and water trap.
3 It is not possible to scavenge on transports at present as there is no external vented suction.
4 NO is always delivered at the designated point, as gas flow affects the NO concentration.
5 Take the Nox air monitor with you.
6 The small Nitric Oxide cylinder will be used for air transports.
7 Phone Orderly Services to transport Nitric Oxide cylinder to and from Ambulance.
8 NO cylinder must be kept upright at all times and chained to trolley.
