Non-ADHB Research Staff as Principal Investigator and non ADHB
co-investigator |
|
When a research project is being led by a Non-ADHB researcher and there is
not an ADHB co-investigator then the non-ADHB researcher must enlist a
relevant ADHB employee as either a supervisor or clinical partner or
contact. The ADHB employee will ensure that your research is ethically
approved, that you are aware of all the relevant policies and procedures for
the ADHB and will endeavour to ensure that you adhere to them. |

Who can be a Research Supervisor or Clinical Partner or ADHB Contact? |
|
The selection of a
Research Supervisor or Clinical Partner or Contact is
based on the complexity of the study and the discipline involved. In most
circumstances it is appropriate that the Clinical Director of the service or
Nurse Leader or equivalent where the research is to be undertaken is
consulted with. After discussing the project with you, they will nominate an
appropriate person to act as your Research Supervisor or Clinical Partner or ADHB Contact.
|
|
For Nursing studies please contact Bridie Kent (bridiek@adhb.govt.nz) direct
to discuss your project and a suitable Research Supervisor or Clinical
Partner or ADHB Contact. |
|
For all other areas please contact the relevant Clinical Director |

Non-ADHB Research Staff as part of Research Team |
If you are a non-ADHB researcher and are part of the research team and will
be accessing ADHB facilities or patients, you need to organise with the
Principal Investigator to complete an ID and parking name badge form and a
confidentiality form from the RAC site.
